Water Damage Mitigation
In this course you learn how water can damage carpets, wooden floors and other building materials, how long it takes for the complete damage to happen, what are the steps to be followed to minimize and reduce the damage, how to remove the water from the property and the basic principles of dehumidification and drying. We also teach you how to control odor, molds and the use of antimicrobials.
Reducing severities through restorative structural drying
In this course we take you through the latest information, equipments, techniques and methods that are used to extract water from the property and drying out the structure. We teach you the effects of water saturation on a variety of material, how to evaluate water loss, drying under the standards set by the industry, measuring and documenting, the complete restoration process to be followed, the use of equipments and technology, the modern drying paradigms being used at other places, and we also teach you the core basics of Psychrometry, that is the science of drying.
